This program is also referred to as Instructional with the emphasis on having FUN while learning basic skills. It is highly recommended that our new players be able to stand on skates, get up on their own using a hockey stick and preferably some basic skating skills before enrolling in the program.  The tyke division is an introduction to the game of hockey for 4 to 6 year olds.  It focuses on basic skating skill development and instruction through various games and station based activities.  In late December, players are initiated to the structure of a hockey game with the an increase focus on positioning and the rules of the game. This programme prepares our players for Novice House League and is always a lot of fun for the young beginners.

Convenor for the Tyke House League program is :     Dave Caldwell
