Midget Local League
| Port Colborne Minor hockey offers the lowest rates for the local league program, a regular practice time and convenient home game slots.

- registration is expected to be around 28 midget aged players born in 1993-1994-1995
- players will be divided into 2 teams of 14 to a maximum of 19 players per team - each team is allocated one shared 50 minute practice time Tentatively the practice night is scheduled for Tuesday night at 6 pm at the East side arena, some practices can be on full ice as decided by the midget local league convenor..
REGULAR SEASON and Round Robin playoff GAMES - each team is allocated a 60 minute game time per week. (10-10-15)
Team #1 Monday 8:25 pm - east side Team #2 Monday 9:30 pm - east side
- each team hosts 14 home games during regular season and 3 round robin playdown games. - each team participates in 14 away games during regular season and 3 away round robin playdown games.
- the local league consists of teams from the following centres.

NOTL 3 teams
Pelham 3 teams West Lincoln 2 teams
Thorold 2 teams
Wainfleet 2 teams

Total ice time : each child is generally on the ice 2 or 3 times per week - one practice and one home and/or away game 20 shared ice practices per season 28 regular season games - 14 home - 14 away 6 round robin playdown games 3 home - 3 away
The local league season ends March Break with only the top two teams from each grouping moving forward for the championship round.
PCMHA provides each team not qualifying for the championship, one additional ice time for their use at the end of the season. This program is designed to further the development each player's individual skating skills and continue to build on the player's knowledget of game strategies. Participation in the local league programme provides our players with the opportunity to play opposing teams of various ability levels, increasing the level of competition. Port Colborne teams adhere to article 12 of the Niagara District Local League manual of operations, EQUAL ICE TIME and the emphasis is on creating a fun team-building environment that promotes good sportsmanship.
